Plot

Magic suddenly appeared in the modern world 10 years ago. You would think it's a special, or even serendipitous occurrence, but it's mostly created suffering and conflict. Shortened lifespans, discrimination, wars - what else could we possibly have to deal with? 

You’ve been living in Dissension for five months now, in a city where magic shapes everyday life, yet only women are able to use it. At least… that’s how it’s supposed to be. But you’re Lux, one of the extremely rare males with the potential to use magic, but so far, to no avail.

An invitation pulls you into the heart of the chaos:

A small, chaotic group called the Paranormal Events Club, or the P.E.C., pulls you into their line of work. They hunt down curses, spirits, monsters, and other secrets buried under everyday life.

Dissension is full of mysteries, and they're all beginning to converge. ...Somewhere in the middle of it there's a rumor - an unseen force called Akasha, or The Library.

As you step deeper into this world of hidden truths, questions linger:

Why are these strange events happening…
and why do some seem tied to you?
